619BEARCAST SERVES UP LIFE FROM A NEW “BEAR-SPECTIVE”

As one of iTunes highly subscribed podcasts, and reaching 70 episodes, the 619Bearcast has embarked on a new mission of bear domination!

What began a few years ago as a conversation of the week’s events among a few bears in San Diego, California, 619Bearcast has evolved into an hour or more discussion featuring a variety of topics, humor and special guests, relatable to bears, their admirers and gay men worldwide. The conversation is not necessarily about bears, but rather about life from a bear perspective. It’s kind of like “The View”…with fur!

As one of the few Podcasts targeted to the bear community, 619Bearcast takes a lighthearted look at issues ranging from relationships, sex and friendship challenges to updates on upcoming international bear events and even the latest tech and iPhone apps.

One of the reasons 619Bearcast has attracted so many national and international listeners are in its approach to issues that are universal in scope. Although based in sunny San Diego, your hosts, Brian, JP, Vito, Dave and Justin have traveled all over the United States and interacted with the national and international gay and bear community.

Each show covers a variety of topics. A sample of recent discussions include: “One Thing You Totally Hate, But Put Up With When Fooling Around,” “Top 10 Right Wing Outed Homophobes,” “Is Facial Hair Important.  Tech geeks can also learn a thing or two when the guys review the latest tech gadgets, games and events like E3 and Comic-Con.

619Bearcast is interactive! Listeners are invited to suggest topics or issues important to them for future shows, leave comments on iTunes and send in emails (ohai@619bearcast.com).
